Electrical Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and construction management, with the ability to effectively coordinate resources, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.

Duties

- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate project bids.

- Collaborate with engineers and architects to design electrical systems that meet project specifications.

- Review blueprints and technical drawings for accuracy and feasibility.

- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Prepare progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.

- Implement system design strategies that optimize efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in electrical project management or a similar role within the construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, construction estimating, and contract management.

- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents.

- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
