Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the NRG Limestone Project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major energy infrastructure initiative while working with a team committed to operational excellence and technical precision.
- Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and review electrical systems and components for power generation facilities
- Perform electrical system calculations, load analyses, and equipment sizing
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and procurement documents
- Conduct field inspections and verify installation compliance with design specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide technical solutions to operational challenges
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support commissioning activities and startup operations
- Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power generation or heavy industrial facilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications
Experience with combined cycle or fossil fuel power plants
- Knowledge of generator systems, switchgear, and motor control centers
- Security Requirements
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Education / Experience Requirements:
Engineer degree

Physical Requirements
: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
