Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and heavy equipment, to transport freight and materials efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and timely deliveries to support our operational needs. Candidates with experience in forklift operation, automotive repair, or heavy equipment handling will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, to transport freight and materials between locations.

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling of freight.

- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle reliability.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for all transportation activities.

- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.

- Assist with warehouse or yard duties as required, including loading/unloading and equipment operation.

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields.

- Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred.

- Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
