About This Job

Job Description:

The Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for our metal fabrication projects. This role is integral to our production process, working closely with the design and the manufacturing teams to ensure all designs are precise, efficient, and adhere to our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings for sheet metal fabrication using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

•

Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.

•

Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for sheet metal projects.

•

Assist in identifying and troubleshooting design issues, proposing solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

•

Maintain and update design files and records as needed.

•

Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

Qualifications:

•

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Draftsman in a metal fabrication environment.

•

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; knowledge of additional CAD software is a plus.

•

Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and standards.

•

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.

•

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
