We’re seeking an Experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist who is proficient in Bystronic laser cutting, press brake operation, plate rolling, and box & pan brake work. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented professional who values teamwork, precision, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Excellence
•Operate and maintain Bystronic laser cutting machines and press brakes to fabricate high-precision parts.
•Use and maintain plate rolling equipment and box & pan brakes to form sheet metal and plate into required shapes and profiles.
•Perform quality control inspections, first-article checks, and in-process verification to ensure consistent accuracy and high standards.
•Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces in alignment with company standards.
Partnership
•Work collaboratively with fellow team members, engineers, and leadership to support a smooth and efficient production flow.
•Support and mentor less experienced team members when needed, fostering a culture of mutual growth and respect.
•Share insights, feedback, and ideas to enhance team performance and job satisfaction.
Innovation
•Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and contribute to process improvements in material handling, machine programming, and layout planning.
•Use machine programming knowledge (e.g., BySoft) to optimize part nesting and reduce material waste.
•Embrace new equipment, technologies, and methods that enhance productivity and quality.
Customer-Centric
•Consistently deliver parts and components that exceed customer expectations for quality, performance, and visual appeal.
•Take pride in work that directly impacts customer satisfaction and project success.
•Understand the importance of timelines and accuracy in supporting downstream assembly, shipping, and customer delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
•Accurately interpret fabrication drawings, CAD files, flat patterns, and work orders.
•Operate forklifts or overhead cranes for material handling (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
•Participate in job planning, time tracking, and documentation of completed work.
•Perform basic machine maintenance and report issues promptly.
Requirements:
•Minimum 3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience, including Bystronic laser and press brake operation.
•Working knowledge of plate rolling and box & pan brake operations.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and flat layouts.
•Experience with BySoft or other CNC programming software is highly preferred.
•Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
•Strong safety mindset and mechanical aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Formal training or certifications with Bystronic equipment.
•Experience in a lean manufacturing or ISO-certified environment.
•Flexibility to support other fabrication tasks as needed (e.g., welding, sawing, grinding).
•Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
