We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components for various projects. This role requires proficiency in welding techniques, an understanding of blueprints and schematics, and the ability to work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, and other metals. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
•Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding duties using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to assemble or repair metal structures, components, and machinery.
•Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate custom parts and products.
•Cutting and Shaping: Use power tools such as saws, grinders, and other equipment to cut, shape, and fit metal components to required specifications.
•Assembly: Assemble parts and components using welding, bolting, or riveting techniques to create finished products.
•Quality Control: Inspect completed welds and fabricated items to ensure they meet the required standards of quality and safety.
•Material Handling: Select and manage materials, ensuring proper storage and handling of welding and fabrication supplies.
•Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations, using protective gear and following safe work practices at all times.
•Collaboration: Work closely with other fabricators, welders, and production staff to complete projects within deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a welder and fabricator, with expertise in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
•Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
•Proficient in the use of fabrication tools and equipment, including power saws, grinders, and cutting machines.
•Knowledge of metal types and their properties (e.g., steel, aluminum).
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) is preferred.
•Valid Texas Driver's License.
•Must be able to work overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Additional certifications in welding techniques (e.g., AWS, ASME).
•Previous experience in heavy equipment fabrication or custom metalworking.
•Familiarity with welding inspection standards and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and operate power tools safely.
•Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
•Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

•10 hour shift, Monday through Thursday
