Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Drafter

to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings for metallic expansion joints, bellows assemblies, and steel support components. You will work closely with engineers and shop teams to turn customer requirements into clear, manufacturable drawings.

What You’ll Do

- Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and 3D models for expansion joints and steel assemblies.

- Interpret engineering notes, customer specs, and industry codes.

- Generate fabrication drawings, BOMs, weld details, and revised redline updates.

- Support manufacturing by ensuring drawings are accurate and aligned with shop capabilities.

- Maintain drawing files and follow PT&P/U.S. Bellows drafting standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

- 2+ years drafting experience in mechanical, steel fabrication, or industrial manufacturing.

- Strong AutoCAD skills (SolidWorks/Inventor a plus).

- Ability to read and produce technical drawings, weld symbols, and tolerances.

- Understanding of fabrication processes: welding, rolling, machining, assembly.

- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
