Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating/updating detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches provided by the designers. You will work closely with the client and the rest of the team to ensure that all drawings meet industry standards and project requirements. This role is essential in supporting project development and ensuring accuracy in design documentation.
Duties
•Develop and prepare 2D detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software.
•Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
•Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or changes in project scope.
•Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
•Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
•Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as needed.
Requirements
•Diploma in Engineering Design Technology, Drafting Technology, or equivalent.
•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD). Maximo is nice to have.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
•Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
•Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
•Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
•Familiarity with Trello and other Kanban software
