Scientific Drilling International is looking for a District Manager in Charleroi, PA. Responsible for effectively managing and coordinating the district operations by working with the US Director of Operations to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.

- Effectively manage and coordinate the district operations.
- Works diligently in the initiation, investigation and close out of Non-Conformance Reports. Ensures customer satisfaction through continual business improvements.
- Develop and follow an effective business plan covering operational management and development of the district to meet organizational strategic plans within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- Organize, coordinate and evaluate operations within the district and its interaction with other SDI business units. Properly control all business and technical processes, maintain appropriate systems for measuring operational output and report information to senior management.
- Secure new business and maintain existing customers relevant to the district. May be required to make sales calls, presentations and identify new markets for our products and services. Responsible for bidding process and liaising with the client's procurement/supply chain process.
- In conjunction with HR, oversees recruitment, management and training for all district personnel according to company procedures and policies.
- Responsible for QA/QC and HSE matters within the District. Ensures Operational, Quality and HSE policies are known and adhered to by all employees. Promotes good safety awareness, encouraging and promoting a safe working environment.
- Manages and reports all district financial information to senior management and is responsible for P/L performance, management and control of expenditures within agreed budgets.
- Ongoing reconnaissance of competitors and customer activity within the district including market opportunities.
- Responsible for all company assets and inventory control within his district.
- On call after normal working hours and on weekends.
- A significant amount of travel and customer visits are required.
- Manages subordinate supervisor(s) who supervise employee(s).
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 8-10 years minimum oil and gas industry experience required.
