Distribution Center Assistant - Mississauga, ON

AMSOIL INC. has an open and exciting opportunity as a Distribution Center Assistant located at our Mississauga, Ontario Distribution Center. As a Warehouse Associate you will help pick, pack, process and ship all outbound AMSOIL orders. You will also interact with customers who pick up their orders daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

- Pick, check and pack out bound shipments using handheld scanning device.

- Provide a high level of customer service and assist with loading orders into customer vehicles.

- Assist with inventory control procedures.

- Perform daily computer work related to order processing and shipping systems.

- Complete daily cleaning of distribution center.

Position Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to repetitively lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Available Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (total of 40 hrs/wk).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Counterbalance/forklift license is an asset.

- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.

- Experience using RF scanner or other barcode scanning system.

- Customer service experience.

Other Details:

- Pay Type - Hourly

- Pay Rate - $21.50 to 23.50/hour CAD depending on experience
