Dispatcher

OVERVIEW

Compass Access Solutions Ltd. is currently accepting applications for one full-time Dispatcher in the County of Grande Prairie No. 1, Alberta. The successful candidate must have experience dispatching trucks and field personnel to various clients on a day-to-day basis within the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities include setting employee and truck schedules, exceptional communication with employees and clients, trouble shoot equipment and project issues and provide solutions to customer needs.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum of three years’ relevant dispatching experience preferably in the oil & gas or trucking industry

· Strong knowledge of weights and dimensions, permitting, load securement and OH&S standards

· Experience in the matting industry would be considered an asset

· Valid WHMIS, H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license (clean 3-year abstract)

· Class 1 license would be an asset

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills an asset

· Advanced computer skills including proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Dynamics CRM system

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team or independently

· Superior customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)

· Must be able to make decisions calmly and efficiently in high-stress environments

· Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Dispatch trucks and employees to projects on a changing schedule

· Communicate efficiently and effectively with employees and third-party contractors

· Troubleshoot project issues and provide solutions to customers

· Provide customer service to clients

· Create work tickets, review driver logs, timesheets, third-party trucking invoices and requested days off

· Monitor calls and emails regularly

· Other duties as required by your supervisor and or manager

· Compensation is commensurate with experience
