Job Description:
Assist in transportation planning, monitor driver activities, and verify the accuracy of data within the scope of control. Must be able to work any assigned shift and possess excellent time management and communication skills. Transportation management and oilfield experience preferred. Dispatcher will ensure the efficient and safe distribution of materials, supplies and equipment, production water, and service work for XTO by leveraging strong organizational skills, real-time monitoring capabilities, and effective communication with XTO field/office personnel and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Clearly and effectively communicate with vendors, XTO field and office operations teams, and ADAPTS teams.
- Use dedicated transportation management systems to assign, track, and record workflow, including Gemini, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, Airtable, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Identify vendor expectations and requirements to align goals in accordance with contract obligations.
- Communicate and coordinate job orders from active field personnel via telephone, email, and/or work order software relating to the haul/disposing of industrial/environmental waste, production water, service work, etc.
- Maintain contact with all operational field and management personnel and keep job statuses updated via voice and/or text (if necessary/urgent) and end-of-day emailed report.
- Create and maintain a current daily log of all work in progress.
- Problem-solve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to maximize production.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work any assigned shift, including nights.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and real-time monitoring capabilities.
- Experience with transportation management and oilfield operations preferred.
- Proficiency in Gemini, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, Airtable, and Excel.
- Ability to communicate clearly with field and office personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Location: Spring, TX
- Schedule: The role will begin with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule for the first 2–3 weeks of training. After the initial training period, the position will transition to a 7-on / 7-off night shift schedule, with 40 regular hours and 44 overtime hours per pay period.
- Pay Rate: $38/hr
