Dispatcher

Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill the Dispatcher position to be based at our quarry in Nashville TN and service the Nashville Market.

Candidates must be motivated, safety conscious individuals with good multi-tasking skills to weigh and dispatch trucks as well as assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities. Performs general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures; requiring some judgement in the selection and interpretation of data. Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, including Saturdays.

- Wages: Starting at $20.00/hr . Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits are included.

Job Requirements

- Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service

- Dispatch trucks and material for delivery

- Weigh trucks, create accurate tickets

- Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities

- Work together with other dispatchers to provide superior service to Nashville Market

- Review ticket reports weekly for accurate billing

- May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma required

- Prior experience with accounts payable, general accounting, and billing related tasks – preferred

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent customer service skills

- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task

- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
