As a Disability Case Advisor you will support Irving Oil’s success by providing ongoing case management of Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Workers’ Compensation claims while working under general supervision. Your goal will be to ensure timely, accurate, and compassionate management of employee cases, fostering both organizational efficiency and employee well-being. Your success will be measured by your ability to balance compliance with care, contributing to a healthier workforce and stronger company performance.

- Facilitate all aspects of disability management, including short and long term disability, workers’ compensation, workplace accommodation, and return-to-work programs
- Coordinate all aspects of case management with employees, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers throughout the disability process to promote understanding, participation, and engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate workplace accommodation and ensure alignment with organizational practices
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and procedures while maintaining accurate and detailed documentation
- Educate and communicate with employees and managers to build understanding of disability processes, rehabilitation participation, and case management plans
- Monitor disability management performance through data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage complex cases
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Detailed orientated with excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- A minimum of three years’ disability management or case management experience
- Disability Management certification is an asset, or willingness to obtain certification
- U.S. case management experience is considered an asset
