Expected salary range of $220,500 to $245,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).


Responsibilities:


Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for leading and accelerating station performance by providing focused leadership, governance, and oversight to drive safe, reliable, and sustainable station performance. This position establishes and reinforces an enduring culture of ownership, accountability, and pride in work through disciplined application of the management model, and deliberate development and engagement of the workforce. The Director Site Recovery ensures leadership behaviors, decision-making, and execution standards support long-term nuclear safety, reliability, and organizational health.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

- Provide leadership and guidance to the station leadership team to drive recovery from performance decline and ensure sustainable improvements in nuclear safety, operational performance, and regulatory compliance.

- Evaluate station performance, leadership behaviors, cultural indicators, and organizational effectiveness to identify performance gaps, negative trends, and systemic weaknesses impacting safe and reliable operation.

- Achieve peer agreement on accountability, ownership, and adherence to standards in line with the management model and company policies.

- Ensure leaders at all organizational levels actively develop their teams through training, coaching, field engagement, reinforcement of standards, and effective employee engagement in work preparation and execution.

- Promote a visible culture of professionalism, pride in work, and quality outcomes by modeling expected leadership behaviors and addressing ineffective behaviors or practices that undermine performance.

- Support the development and implementation of strategies and action plans to close performance gaps, mitigate risk, and prevent recurrence of performance issues.

- Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators, cultural metrics, and recovery milestones to assess effectiveness of actions and adjust strategies as necessary.

- Strengthen leadership bench strength and succession planning by identifying capability gaps, supporting talent development, and reinforcing leadership accountability for building a sustainable pipeline of proficient leaders.

- Foster open communication, constructive challenge, and learning across the station to enhance workforce engagement, trust, and alignment with recovery objectives.

- Coordinate with fleet, corporate, and oversight organizations to ensure alignment with company expectations, best practices, and recovery governance.

- All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management, including but not limited to support of station initiatives, recovery activities, and special assignments.


Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical) or related science OR

- Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 12 years of nuclear power plant experience OR

- Associates degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or related science with 14 years of power plant experience OR

- High school diploma/GED with 16 years of power plant experience

- 5 years supervisory or managerial experience

- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties


Qualifications:


Preferred Qualifications

- Successful completion of core supervisory/management training and development programs

- Current or prior Senior Reactor Operator License or Certification
