The Director of Rates & Regulatory is responsible for leading a team of professionals while collaborating with our business partners to develop rates and tariffs strategies for the interstate pipeline system. This role will design and coordinate solutions to meet customer needs that align with our business objectives. Strategic ability and good judgment are keys to success in this role!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Collaborates with others to identify strategy and approach for rate cases and tariff filings
- Develops and maintains all policies, processes and standards and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversees the modeling and analysis of rate base, cost of services, rate design and other items for rate cases and rate timing studies
- Develops assumptions for volume and revenue budgeting and forecasting based on market analysis, contractual provisions and regulatory considerations
- Integrates regulatory strategy with business, capital and financial planning
- Provides research and education on regulatory issues
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees
- Develops/handles budgets, plan and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysis
- Mentors others and holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelor's degree; a minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or management experience and minimum ten (10) years’ relevant accounting experience
- Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Extensive knowledge of FERC regulations and accounting requirements/processes
