Title: Director of Retail Technology

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Retail Technology to lead the evolution of our retail technology landscape. This role combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, shaping and executing a technology roadmap that ensures operational excellence, system security, enhanced customer experience, and innovation at the store level.

Key Activities Include

Execution & Operations

+ Lead the implementation and optimization of store systems (POS, inventory, workforce management, digital signage, etc.). + Engage directly in troubleshooting and supporting systems as needed—no task is too small. + Partner with field operations to pilot, test, and roll out new technology solutions with minimal disruption.

+ Develop and own the long-term retail technology strategy, aligned with business objectives and future growth. + Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to cross-functional leaders in store operations, merchandising, marketing, and finance.

+ Lead a team of internal specialists and manage external technology partners and vendors. + Create accountability around execution timelines, quality of deliverables, and system uptime.

+ Establish and manage a detailed technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investments with clear ROI. + Optimize vendor contracts and licensing to maximize value.

Data & Insights

+ Ensure store systems capture the right data to power analytics and operational decisions. + Partner with data teams to improve data accessibility and accuracy across retail functions.

Compliance & Security

+ Ensure all retail technology solutions meet relevant security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Our Refineries and Logistics Operations
