The Director of Electrical Construction is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical construction operations across the company. This individual will ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. The Director will serve as the company’s Master Electrician and will hold and maintain all electrical licenses required for the company’s operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and manage the electrical construction division, including project planning, execution, budgeting, and staffing.
- Ensure compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Serve as the company’s Master Electrician, holding and maintaining all required electrical licenses.
- Oversee permitting processes and ensure all electrical work is properly documented and inspected.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Develop and implement best practices for electrical construction and maintenance.
- Mentor and train electrical staff, ensuring continued professional development and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships related to electrical work.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Master Electrician License (must be active and in good standing).
- Ability and willingness to hold all electrical licenses on behalf of the company.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety regulations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in project management software and construction scheduling tools.
