JOB PURPOSE:
The Corporate Director of Compliance and Production Training is responsible for all Production based training in assigned Divisions. Additionally, this role oversees compliance with Corporate Safety and Storm Water policies and procedures, as well as conducts technical field reviews
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties and Responsibilities
•Production Training – Boot camps/HIT
•Assist with continuing development of web-based training program library (On3)
•Develop and conduct regional production training boot camps
•Work with Divisions to utilize local based vendors to conduct specific in-field trainings
•Work with Corporate Production teams on implementation and training of BuildPro
•Assist Onboarding of new production staff
•Conduct on-site trainings such as Frame check, Pre-con meetings, PSD meetings, Greenbooks, and others as needed
•Review of all Jurisdictional requirements for assigned Divisions
•Oversee 3^rd party consultants at the Division level
•Develop a DRB group compliance program that would be approved by any jurisdiction we build in now and future
•Work with IT to develop in-house format to track compliance
•On-Site review of Storm Water compliance measures
•Ensure all Divisions maintain 3^rd party consultant programs
•Conduct company-wide safety inspections and audits
•Work with DRB Legal team on OSHA violations across DRB footprint
•Work with IT to develop in-house safety checklist to be used (daily/weekly) at Division level
•Conduct quarterly Technical Field Reviews (TFR’s) in assigned Divisions
•Compile results and review with Divisions leadership
•Create trainings based on TFR results
•During field visits, confirm use of approved products mandated from Corporate Purchasing
•Production Internship and College Recruiting
•Coordinate with Corporate HR on the Summer Production Internship programs for assigned Divisions
•Coordinate with Corporate HR to represent DRB Group on assigned college campuses
•Must have valid driver’s license
•Other duties as apparent or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and Skills
•Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
•Working knowledge of builder scheduling systems (Build Pro is preferred)
•Ability to present ideas effectively, orally and in writing
•Strong organizational and presentation skills
•Ability to follow through with multiple projects, with minimal supervision, and a high level of accuracy
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
College Degree in Building Construction Management and 5-7 years’ experience in a production homebuilding leadership position and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience within the residential homebuilding industry
