Director of Canvassing

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Canvassing to lead our outreach and engagement efforts. This leadership role involves overseeing door-to-door canvassing campaigns, managing a team of canvassers, and developing strategic initiatives to maximize sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and supervisory skills, with a passion for community engagement and advocacy. Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a team of canvassers to ensure effective door-to-door outreach campaigns.

- Develop and implement strategic canvassing plans aligned with organizational goals.

- Train new team members on canvassing techniques, customer service, and communication skills.

- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and reporting on campaign progress.

- Engage with community members to promote services or initiatives through persuasive communication and negotiation.

- Maintain high standards of customer service to foster positive community relationships.

- Analyze campaign data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies during canvassing activities.

Requirements

- Proven supervisory experience in team management or leadership roles.

- Strong background in marketing, sales, or telemarketing with demonstrated success in outreach initiatives.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are highly preferred.

- Experience in door-to-door canvassing, fundraising, or community engagement campaigns.

- Exceptional negotiation skills to effectively persuade and build rapport with diverse audiences.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to expanding our outreach efforts and fostering meaningful community connections through strategic leadership and effective communication strategies.
