Position Summary:This Director, Billing will serve as the Billing process owner and is responsible for ensuring precise, and timely invoice execution, as well as data-driven insights which measures our customer’s overall billing-related experience. This role will maintain and enhance policies, procedures, and implement standard processes, controls, workflows, as well as reporting tools. These efforts aim to reduce billing errors, minimize customer disputes and enhance customer satisfaction. This role will lead a cross-functional team focused on creating enhanced and scalable end-to-end solutions to metrics related to efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has the ability to start and implement new processes from scratch, collaborates effectively across departments, and is dedicated to continuous improvement.
Assist with defining and implementing a billing scorecard to monitor overall health of the billing process and identify opportunities to optimize. Understands industry-wide best practices and identify continuous improvement initiatives to ensure AmeriGas is maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving operational efficiencies.
