- Safety Stewardship: Champion a "Safety First" culture, ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA, DOT, and GFL safety regulations.- Experience: 5+ years of heavy-duty Diesel and CNG maintenance experience.
- Certifications:
- Required: Brake Safety Certification and 609 A/C System Certification.
- Preferred: ASE Certifications (T-Series).
- Licensing: Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred, or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of hire.
- Technical Skills: Expert ability to interpret intricate electrical and diagnostic schematics; high proficiency with diagnostic software and general computer literacy.
- Communication: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods while performing repairs.
- Sustained concentrated mental and visual attention for high-stakes diagnostics.
- Ability to reach above shoulders, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable operating heavy trucks and equipment in a dynamic shop environment.
