Job Title: Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Reports to: Fleet Manager

Salary: $36-$38

Job Summary:

The Mechanic is responsible for performing work in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment. For the successful candidate, we offer our own repair facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•

Perform light duty and heavy diesel repair

•

P/M equipment throughout the facility on a regular basis.

Required Skills/Abilities:

•

Experience working on Semi trailers and Class 8 vehicles.

•

Experience in using electrical or manual tools.

•

Experience with maintenance software

•

Experience with diesel computers

•

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

•

Ability to exercise interpersonal and customer service skills.

•

Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects within time frames.

•

Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on equipment.

•

Any electric baler experience would be a plus.

Experience:

•

Experience in diesel, automotive and general maintenance.

•

High School Diploma or GED (required)..

•

DOT certified

•

HVAC certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
