Designer

What you'll do:

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a CAD Designer to support engineering and design teams on utility and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for preparing high‑quality CAD drawings and design documents in support of transmission, distribution, substation, and other utility-related projects. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other designers.

Required Qualifications:

- Expereince in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - 15+ years of experience as a CAD Designer or CAD Technician (utility, engineering, or infrastructure preferred)

- Proficiency with AutoCAD

- Strong understanding of drafting standards, layering, scaling, and dimensioning

- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design criteria

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
