Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer Mid-Level

Reports To: Chief Engineer

Job Summary: Bingham & Taylor is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to lead cross-functional efforts in turning product ideas into functional prototypes and production-ready designs. This role focuses heavily on pattern and tooling design for foundry applications, utilizing CAD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The engineer will work closely with internal teams and vendors to support product development, troubleshoot design issues, and ensure manufacturing feasibility. Responsibilities also include maintaining design documentation, supporting quality initiatives, and contributing to ISO standards and continuous improvement efforts. Fluency in English is required for this position, as effective communication is essential for successful job performance.
