Delivery Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with clients.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients.

- Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques.

- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.

- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery.

- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring deliveries are accurate and professional interactions are maintained.

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving.

Skills

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

- Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of goods safely.

- Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.

- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification is advantageous.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.50 per hour
