Deisel mechanic

Job Summary

We are currently looking for mechanics to join our team to perform work on dump trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Truck & Trailer Mechanic you will be expected to perform the following duties:

- Must be punctual and reliable.

- Must own your own tools.

- Perform maintenance tasks based on driver pre and post trip inspections in a timely manner or as directed by the Maintenance Manager

- Make adjustments to brakes, clutches, and other utilities that are part of the vehicle or other equipment

- Must have experience in engine diagnostic, ac repair, and general tractor maintenance.

- Make adjustments to hydraulic pressures and other hydraulic components of any equipment

- Perform tire changes and repairs

- Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies and regulations

Education, Experience & Certifications: Truck and Trailer Mechanic: 1 year (Required) 3 years (recommended)

- Clean class A, B or C Drivers License preferred

Qualifications & Skills: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.

- Capable of major component repair and rebuilding

- Capable in the use of diagnostic tools

- Complete understanding of mechanical systems

- Complete understanding of hydraulic systems

- Complete understanding of electrical systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

- Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
