We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry, Sales Support & Basic Database Admin with a focus on data entry and sales support. This role is important in maintaining accurate company records, ensuring smooth operational workflows, and supporting sales teams with data entry related to sales, deals, and other relevant information. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has experience in data entry positions, with a background in databases and CRM entry.
Hourly Pay rate: $23.50 / hour + bonus structure
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer and company records in the internal CRM system.
- Regularly review, validate, and clean data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Create new customer or account records in CRM, update outdated information, and flag duplicates.
- Maintain standardized data formats for customer contact details, sales history, orders, and billing records.
- Basic database-related tasks such as sorting, filtering, and exporting data for reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and retrievable data across company systems.
- Generate and format internal sales metrics and daily and weekly reports related to sales figures, including spreadsheets, summaries, and breakdowns for management.
- Track and document sales performance, order statuses, and customer activity as requested.
- Assist in maintaining and updating internal data handling procedures and guidelines.
- Enter new leads into CRM systems.
- Prepare and send sales quotes, proposals, and documentation. On-the-job training for our specific sales administration and price requests is provided.
- Coordinate communication between sales staff, suppliers, and the customer service team.
- Assist in client follow-ups, sales, and contract renewals, and respond to basic customer inquiries.
- Support operational flow, enabling the sales team to focus on client engagement and closing deals.
- Handle business data, pricing details, and customer records in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality while managing client interactions, company information, and sales agreements.
- Work closely with the administrative team and sales representatives to correctly enter and resolve duplicates and discrepancies in existing data, CRM records, customer information, and clarify data inputs.
- Ensures efficient workflows by communicating updates and coordinating priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, data entry, and Microsoft basics
- Ability to analyze, clean, and maintain large datasets accurately.
- Prior experience in data entry, sales support, or administrative roles preferred.
- Adaptability, professionalism, and a teamwork mindset.
