We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity and Risk Intern for a 3-month term starting May 18, 2026. This role is perfect for candidates with strong Data Science and Cybersecurity Risk skills who thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

What you will learn

- Gain a deep understanding of both processes and overall function of Information Security.

- Learn to manage project status, requirements, analyze relevant project data, and create reports.

- Tackle ad-hoc analytical assignments and reporting, gaining versatile analytical experience.

Minimum qualifications

- Enrolled in at least the 2nd year of a bachelor’s program in Cybersecurity from an accredited institution. Preferably from a National Security Collaboration Center (NSCC) Higher Education Partnering institution.

- You will not graduate from your current bachelor’s program prior to the end date of this internship.

- Ability to commit to a 3-month work term starting May 18, 2026.

- Assist SOX ITGC documentation gathering.

- Perform Data Analysis of Information Security datasets.

- Capture metrics used in Risk and Compliance reporting.

- Experience working with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint, and Outlook).

- Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX. for the entire duration of the term.

- Ability to provide three satisfactory references from past managers/teachers and pass a Criminal Background Check.

- Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.

- This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of their employment.
