The primary function of the CSR Front Counter is to execute retail operations at the front counter level. They will process walk-in orders and take payment for POS-level transactions as well answer the main line and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Customer Service Department Manager.
Interact with customers via telephone, email, or in-person to provide support and information on products or services.
Collect payment and enters orders for POS-level sales.
Answer incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate parties.
Collaborate with on-site staff to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction for walk-in customers.
Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner.
Must be detailed oriented, articulate, and a confident communicator.
Proficient in office software and ERP software packages.
Must demonstrate patience when communicating with customers and co-workers.
Must act ethically, be principled, and follow established procedures.
Versatile and willing to adapt to a situation with a customer.
Coordinate with the internal department and/or supervisor to find solutions and resolve matters.
Follows company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
Able to handle loud background noise, high-stress situations, and frequent interruptions.
Good interpersonal skills. Demonstrate professionalism; be courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers at all times.
Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences.
Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.
Ability to stand/sit for several hours in a row.
Operate in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
