We are looking for a driven, organized, and people-oriented team member to manage the customer journey from initial inquiry through project completion while also coordinating and working community events to help us connect with homeowners interested in solar and home energy solutions.What You’ll Do:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
•Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners, providing clear, friendly, and professional communication throughout their solar journey.
•Manage sales calendars for the sales team, ensuring appointments are accurately scheduled and communicated.
•Coordinate project details with customers, sales, and installation teams to ensure a smooth process from signed agreement to installation.
•Take payments and deposits from customers and ensure accurate entry into company systems.
•Schedule crews for installations and service appointments, communicating timelines clearly with homeowners.
•Handle customer questions, providing updates and support with a solutions-focused mindset.
•Accurately maintain CRM records, tracking communications, appointments, and project details.
As a Community Events Coordinator, you will:
•Plan, manage, and work community events across East Tennessee to engage homeowners, share information about solar and home energy solutions, and collect qualified leads for follow-up.
•Handle event logistics, including setup, tear-down, and transportation of event materials.
•Confidently engage the public at fairs, home shows, and local expos to build trust and interest in Your Home Solar.
Technology You’ll Use:
•Candidates should be proficient in:
•CRM systems such as GoHighLevel, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
•Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and email management.
•Microsoft Excel for tracking projects and event data.
•Slack for internal communication.
•Windows-based computer systems.
Requirements:
•Experience in customer service, project coordination, or office administration within a home service business (solar, roofing, HVAC, etc.).
•Experience working community events and engaging the public.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and calendars while maintaining a high level of customer service.
•Reliable transportation and ability to lift event materials as needed.
•Self-starter with a positive attitude and commitment to quality and transparency.
Compensation & Work Environment:
•60% in-office at our Knoxville location managing customer service, projects, and scheduling.
•40% in the field at community events across East Tennessee.
•Mileage reimbursement for event travel at the 2025 federal standard rate (insert updated rate here, e.g., $0.70 per mile).
•We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
