Amaril Uniform Company is a wholesale supplier of personal protective equipment / clothing and accessories, based in Fridley, MN. Customer base is national and generally customer contact is by phone or email.
Customer service and support staff are self-regulated and work collaboratively in a peer group setting, with individual office spaces. Each person is expected to regulate their time based on their daily tasks and deadlines and support their department coworkers if needed.
This position is part-time flexible: Monday-Friday: Afternoons preferred (4 hours per day) - can discuss further.
Experience: Some accounting and math skills preferred. No formal experience is required. Ability to work with customers on phone and by email in a friendly, positive manner is an important aspect of the job. QuickBooks experience is preferred but not necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft programs, such as Word and Spreadsheets, is important. Must be able to type.
Þ Answer phones and promptly respond to customer emails and voicemails.
Þ Assist customers with order delivery information, as well as order creation and changes. Transfer customers or take messages, when necessary.
Þ Print and enter orders into accounting system that are placed by phone, email, and online in e-commerce system.
Þ Process return and repair requests, which may include the creation of UPS labels, in a timely manner.
