Customer Service Representative

Durkin Water & Propane, along with Heritage Fuel is a family-owned business that services the consumer and wholesale sectors of the propane, fuel oil, pool & emergency drinking water market. As a growing business in the water and energy industry, we are actively searching for a dedicated professional to join our team and grow with us. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and perform daily tasks throughout all four (4) integrated divisions of our offered services

· Possess technological capability to maintain complete and accurate account details within our customer database

· Assist with new and existing customer proposals, work orders, and account set ups

· Professionally answer telephone calls and emails from customers to maintain our high standard of customer service

· Support our dispatcher in strategically planning truck routes and deliveries in order to maintain customer needs and expectations.

· Work closely with upper management to understand office expectations and needs

Requirements:

· Intellectual curiosity about the energy business and surrounding market

· Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment

· Technological proficiencies in excel and word

· Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing

· Ability to thrive, both independently as well as in a group environment

· Possess leadership abilities in order to meet challenges and make decisions on their own

· Prior knowledge of the energy business is a plus but not necessary. Durkin’s is willing to train you!

Minimum Education:

· High School Graduate

· Associates’ or Bachelors’ Degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
