In this role, you will support the Customer Care Team by helping identify and reduce revenue loss while streamlining key operational processes to enhance efficiency and service accuracy. This is a full-time paid internship located in Glendale, AZ.
Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
- Research and identify possible sources of non-revenue water (NRW) loss
- Identify properties with multiple meters and consolidating them to a single account to streamline billing
- Use the Maricopa County Assessor’s website to identify missing parcel numbers for properties in EPCOR’s Paradise Valley and Fountain Hills service territory
- Identify water providers for EPCOR’s commercial wastewater-only accounts and making recommendations for data sharing agreements with those entities
- Compare historical bad debt with current customer phone numbers and emails to identify recovery opportunities
- Respond to customer email inquiries about their bills, usage and other complex billing questions
- Demonstrate a high-performance, high-discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative, and achievement-oriented manner of working
- Support other projects and responsibilities as requested
- Currently enrolled in secondary education to include trade school or recent graduate
- Basic knowledge of Water/Wastewater systems
- Proficiency in CIS platforms
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrates professionalism and reliability in all tasks
- Works collaboratively with team members and mentors
- Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Eager to learn and apply new skills
