Counter Sales (HVAC)

Overview:

Counter Sales Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assisting customers by providing excellence customer service with typing orders for Will Call & Delivery, researching Special Request and Warranty Information, and providing general information on products sold and stocked. Material request are processed over the phone or in person at our will call counter. Our counter people are expected to be enthusiastic, responsive and friendly. They should always maintain a helpful and courteous attitude when dealing with our customers. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities:

KEY TASKS

- Taking and accurately processing all customer material requests

- Source and quote non-stock items

- Provide quotations to our customer when requested

- Put away counter and parts stock

- Follow-up and communicate lead times on customer back-orders.

- Write up and process credits for return material

- Process all warranty items in accordance with our warranty procedure manual

- Follow-up on all customer quotations

- Track and fill out lost sales on our 0-Phones form

- Attend company sponsored product training seminars
