Job Description

The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for processing and booking all corporate and personnel expenses, as well as posting and reconciling cash receipts and payments, across all Vitol entities.

Job Duties for a Corporate Accounting Analyst:

+ Assist in reviewing employee expense reports to ensure appropriate completion and submission + Assist in processing and recorded employee expense reports (from Concur to the internal accounting system, Vega) + Reconcile employee costs between American Express, Concur, and Vega + Book and pay company payroll and related benefit costs + Book company overhead costs, including rent, utilities, canteen, subscriptions, etc. + Record intercompany transactions and fundings + Interface with external service providers and local Vitol offices to ensure correct accounting treatment + Post and apply daily cash receipts and payments + Reconcile daily and monthly bank statements + Bank account maintenance, including linking accounts from Vista to Vega and maintaining the check process + Assist in testing internal controls for Vega processes + Maintain Delegation of Authority (DOA) and expense approver flow + Manage and maintain Concur reporting system and employee expense reporting process
