J MAR’s client, a well-established industrial supply and distribution company serving the energy sector, is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to support and grow an existing portfolio of key accounts.
This role is a backfill due to retirement and offers a strong, established customer base with the opportunity to strengthen relationships, expand business within existing accounts, and introduce additional products and services.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with customers, understands the OCTG/line pipe/MRO space, and knows how to grow business from within, while still identifying new opportunities.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of established corporate accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring strong customer relationships and consistent service delivery.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts (value-add programs, inventory solutions, automation, etc.).
- Partner with Regional VPs, corporate sales, and operations teams to support customer needs and drive additional revenue.
- Work with legal to negotiate and maintain Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Conduct customer reviews, track KPIs, and address service or performance issues.
- Deliver presentations to key stakeholders across customer organizations.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to complement the existing customer base.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
- Established book of business with long-standing customer relationships.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the energy industry.- Strong understanding of OCTG, line pipe, and/or MRO products and contracts.
- Proven ability to maintain and grow customer relationships.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills and customer presence.
- This role requires extensive travel, primarily within the Houston area and surrounding region, with occasional travel to other major U.S. oil and gas basins based on customer needs.
