The Control Panel Assembler will spend their time reading and interpreting drawings and schematics. Using basic and specific hand tools throughout the shift to complete the building tasks at hand. Building panels from start to finish with minimal supervision including some metal work, drilling, cutting, and filing of enclosures and backplates. Wiring panel and installing all components to complete the panel to be sent off to the QA and testing department.

- Keeping track of work tools and materials need to complete build.
- Keep workstations fully stocked with materials to maintain flow and production pace.
- React and take immediate actions in case of changes in priority.
- Quickly escalate any issues that could negatively affect productivity.
- Industry experience or bachelor's degree in technical field is an advantage
- Experience in medium to large sized electrical construction projects and a current knowledge of electrical, building codes and regulations.
- In-depth familiarity of tender rules and processes, and electrical heat trace knowledge is an asset.
- 3 or more years' experience as an estimator for electrical construction projects is and asset.
- Excellent knowledge of industry products, practices, and standards.
- Knowledge of engineering software (CompuTrace) and engineering skills an asset.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook and Excel.
