This is a temporary on-site night shift role for a Contract Nuclear Power Safety Professional located in Waynesboro, GA. The professional will ensure compliance of WEC and Customer industrial safety procedures, practices, and instructions along with support of nuclear power operations safety processes. Responsibilities also include analyzing safety data, communicating findings, coaching and mentoring industrial safe work practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address industrial safety-related concerns. This position will be supporting the refueling efforts of Unit #1 from 02/06 - 4/15 and move to Unit #3 for 4/14 to end of May.
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate safety data and problem-solving capabilities for complex issues.
- Previous experience as a nuclear power operations safety professional.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and report findings.
- Robust knowledge of industrial safety standards, Hu-P, and nuclear power operation regulations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
