Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance & Consumables Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day upkeep of equipment and facilities, managing consumables inventory, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with technical aptitude, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude toward preventative maintenance and supply management. A CDL is a plus, but not required. This candidate must have a clean driving record.
Previous metal work fabrication to understand consumables and tool use is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
•Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment and facilities.
•Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems. Coordinate and schedule outside maintenance when necessary.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess equipment functionality and performance.
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using logs (coordinate with Document Control for Data entries)
•Collaborate with management personnel to provide insights on equipment needs and improvements.
•Coordinate with purchaser with adding, removing and swapping inventory from tool crib (tool and consumable tracking)
•Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
•Help improve safety protocols and procedures. OSHA logging.
•Regular shop maintenance (blowing out equipment, changing light bulbs, shop clean up, etc.)
•Shipping and receiving (help to unload and load materials from trucks, help to load materials in and out of paint booth as needed)
•Schedule and track regular maintenance for trucks
•Drop off and pick up misc materials and tools as needed
Skills/Qualifications
•Proficient in hydraulics and mechanical systems maintenance.
•Positive and good attitude (required)
•Experience with precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
•Familiarity with technical sales processes is a plus.
•Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a manufacturing facility setting.
•CDL (Plus, but not required)
•Clean driving record (required)
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments (e.g., warehouse, production floor outdoor elements such as heat and cold).
•Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
