full-time Maintenance Technician

to become a key part of our dedicated team.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility running smoothly. You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, as well as handling physical plant maintenance-including buildings and grounds. Your work ensures our operations remain safe, efficient, and productive.

Maintenance Technician Essential Functions

- Review job orders to determine work priorities

- Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations

- Perform preventive maintenance in conjunction with operations

- Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings while installing or repairing equipment

- Use hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments

- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment

- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints

- Install or repair automated machinery and equipment

- Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, to make and repair parts

- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts

- Repair or replace defective parts

- Lubricate and clean parts

- Initiate purchase order for parts and machines

- Maintain building and grounds

Maintenance Technician Physical Requirements

- Standing and/or walking 100%

- Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs

- Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls

- Ability to view computer monitor

- Occasional alpha/numeric keyboarding
