Overview
The Construction Safety Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and health of all personnel on construction sites. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs that comply with OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk management, occupational health, and construction management, along with the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols to all team members.
Duties
•Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction site operations.
•Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
•Monitor and analyze incident reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
•Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into all aspects of construction management.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA standards, EHS regulations, and NEC codes relevant to construction activities.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims and occupational health concerns.
•Utilize construction management software to document safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance audits.
