Construction Team Manager – Specialized Infrastructure
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Team Manager to oversee the design, coordination, and execution of specialized infrastructure within a high-spec industrial facility. This role is central to managing static architectural elements, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and functional standards, while integrating seamlessly with broader construction efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead the planning and construction of specialized infrastructure in a controlled environment (e.g., clean and dry rooms).
•Manage the architectural scope from design to handover across all project phases.
•Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet project timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements.
•Ensure integration of architectural systems with structural, mechanical, and electrical components.
•Conduct site inspections, manage risks, and enforce quality and safety standards.
•Oversee procurement, supplier coordination, and material tracking.
•Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure timely, compliant execution.
•Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
•Review engineering deliverables and drive corrective actions as needed.
•Ensure adherence to regulations, sustainability practices, and design intent.
•Coordinate site activities, inspections, and handovers with precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
•Degree in Civil, Construction, or related Engineering field.
•10+ years’ experience in construction, preferably on large-scale or industrial projects.
•5+ years in a supervisory or project leadership role.
•Must be well experienced with Clean Room & Dry Room construction.
•Experience in architectural and civil aspects of infrastructure delivery.
•Strong understanding of construction drawings, workflows, codes, and safety protocols.
•Skilled in QA/QC, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
•Familiarity with design-build delivery and digital tools (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project preferred).
•Effective team leader with problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach.
Other Requirements:
•Able to work primarily on-site at construction locations.
•Capable of managing complex technical interfaces and interdisciplinary teams.
•Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
