Role Summary: The Construction Coordinator supports the Construction Department by developing, maintaining, and adjusting project schedules to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time. This role collaborates closely with project teams, technicians, trades, and vendors to coordinate timelines, identify potential risks, and ensure smooth project delivery.
· Review work orders, budgets, and scope of work prior to scheduling.
· Develop and maintain the master construction schedule.
· Monitor job progress to ensure projects remain on schedule.
· Update the repair tracker with newly assigned jobs.
· Distribute detailed daily/weekly schedules to construction staff, including all required job information.
· Provide purchase orders (POs) to construction staff as needed.
· Cross-reference invoices to confirm PO amounts are accurate and updated.
· Communicate effectively with Construction Lead Technicians, Project Management teams, and sub-trades.
· Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and document management.
· Maintain company standards for attendance and punctuality.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
- At least 1 year of restoration experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- High level of accuracy and accountability in task completion.
