Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Compliance Assistant to support our Chief Compliance Officer. This role involves managing legal documentation, assisting with subcontractor compliance, tracking safety training, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience handling legal documents, be proficient with technology, and have a basic understanding of insurance-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
•Process and organize legal documents, including subpoenas and deposition subpoenas.
•Manage calendaring for legal proceedings and deadlines.
•Convert legal documents into PDFs and maintain organized digital records.
•Track and collect safety training and onboarding documentation.
•Ensure compliance with subcontractor requirements, including master subcontractor agreements and insurance certifications.
•Assist with general office administration and document management.
•Utilize Adobe, DocuSign, and other technology tools for efficient processing.
•Maintain and update records related to insurance compliance (WC/OSHA).
Qualifications & Skills:
•Experience in a legal administrative or compliance support role preferred.
•Familiarity with subpoenas, calendaring, and document processing.
•Basic understanding of insurance policies (Workers' Compensation, OSHA).
•Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
•Proficiency in Adobe, DocuSign, and other administrative software.
•Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
