The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Integration Communications Specialist to join our U.S. Utility Integration Program Management Office. This role is perfect for a self-starter who excels at prioritizing multiple tasks, navigating ambiguity, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•

Collaborate with the Integration Program Communications Manager and Program team to execute the Program Communications & Engagement Strategy.

•

Coordinate organization-wide messaging related to integration milestones and updates, ensuring timely delivery of materials.

•

Review and maintain communications standards, templates, and guidelines to support consistent messaging within the program.

•

Act as a liaison to Business Readiness (BR) OCM and Communications leads, supporting successful alignment and implementation of program communications.

•

Develop, socialize, and implement communications materials to support overall USUI program objectives, including sponsor communications, SteerCo materials, and Board materials.

•

Ensure messaging reflects the overarching narrative of the integration program, fostering clarity, alignment, and trust.

•

Collaborate with the Utility Public Affairs and Communications (UPAC) team to understand non-program U.S. Utility Communications requirements and mitigate potential change collisions.

•

Track communication and engagement metrics for reporting by the BR team, identify areas of potential fatigue, and collaborate on solutions.

•

Monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts through stakeholder feedback and engagement metrics, recommending improvements.

•

Support integration reporting on the UPAC integration plan.

•

Serve as the program’s communications liaison, providing leadership with updates on key messages, progress, and risks.

•

Manage intake for USUI Program Communications issues/requests.

•

Support BR team communications from workstreams, ensuring guidance and consistency.

Qualifications

•

A university degree and a minimum of 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of formal education, certification, and experience.

•

Minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience in communications or equivalent, preferably in a large and sophisticated organization.

•

PROSCI Change Management Certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) Designation, or Communications Management Professional (CMP) is an asset.

•

Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies for transformational change programs or projects.

•

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong, positive, and trusting relationships with diverse partners.

•

Excellent writing, presentation, and organizational skills.

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Superior PowerPoint skills), SharePoint, Viva Engage, and other communication tools and software.
