Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for a Commercial Application Support intern to join the team. This position reports to Manager, Commercial Applications in the Information Service Unit, part of Pembina’s Legal, People, & Corporate Affairs Division.

The Information Services Unit (ISU) is Pembina’s enterprise technology and digital delivery organization. Its role is to enable, operate, and evolve the digital systems, data, and technology services that support Pembina’s business operations, while acting as a strategic execution and business partnering function rather than a standalone IT utility.

We are seeking a Student Intern to support the Commercial Applications team within the Information Services Unit (ISU). This role provides hands on exposure to enterprise commercial systems and technology operations that support front, mid, and back office business activities. The intern will assist with application support, testing, documentation, and project activities, helping ensure commercial systems remain stable, reliable, and ready for business use while enhancements and upgrades are delivered.

Please note that this is a 4-month term, and the successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

- Perform role specific responsibilities such as supporting users by responding to onboarding requests, assisting with application issues, and providing general help such as documentation, testing, and adhoc tasks. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term;

- Work with the team on process improvements and ongoing projects to help improve application support and ensure projects are completed successfully;

- Support daytoday work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as (e.g. ServiceNow, Microsoft Office suite, Copilot/ChatGPT, and all Commercial Systems);

- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Business with a concentration in Management of Information Systems (MIS) or Operations Management, or a degree in Computer Science, and returning to school following the end of the work term;

- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;

- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and

- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
