Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating different CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Examples of equipment we have are CNC press brake, WaterJet, Tormach CNC Mills and Lathes.
Duties
•Operate CNC machines and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
•Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
•Set up and adjust CNC machines, including loading programs and calibrating tools.
•Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output, making adjustments as necessary.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
•Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
•Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes and workflow improvements.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
•Proficient in operating CNC machinery with experience in programming preferred.
•Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precise measurements.
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes within a factory or manufacturing facility setting.
•Experience with packaging processes for finished products.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
•Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
