As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components by interpreting technical drawings and utilizing various machining techniques. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
•Operate CNC machines to fabricate components according to specifications.
•Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
•Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy.
•Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure operational efficiency.
•Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
•Conduct quality checks on finished products and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
•Proficiency in programming CNC machines and understanding G-code.
•Experience with SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes.
•Familiarity with electrical discharge machining techniques is a plus.
•Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively.
•Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
•Experience with precision measuring instruments, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
