Summary
This is a critical role in maintaining production quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing environment to produce precision parts. This detail-oriented machinist will have experience operating vertical three-axis milling machines with Fanuc Controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Ability to perform initial setup and prove-out when program and print are provided.
•Set up and operate vertical mills (Doosan/Haas) to produce precision parts.
•Solid understanding of fixturing to ensure efficiency and repeatable process.
•Interpret prints, technical drawings, specifications including GD&T.
•Adjust machine efficiency to project requirements.
•Adjust program and tooling to meet tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.
•Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on mill machines.
•Verify conformance inspecting components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
•Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control while keeping a clean and organized work area.
•Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve machining challenges.
•Ability to modify existing programs using G & M code and Gibbs CAM a plus.
Required Qualifications
•5+ years of experience operating mill machines in a manufacturing environment.
•Proven ability to independently set up milling machines.
•Strong understanding of prints, GD&T and machining principles.
•Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
